Our exterior team uses a spray, brush, spray, brush method. They spray to apply the paint and then work the paint into the substrate with a brush.

Carpentry Assessment
Living through the harsh New England winters, exterior painting often reveals needed carpentry repairs. As part of the preliminary consultation, your Hubley representative will walk the perimeter of your home, noting areas of concern and measuring to determine painting costs.
Before commencing your painting project, our carpentry team will perform a thorough assessment of your home's exterior. They'll take a close look at the wood around the roofline, second floor windows, eaves and the areas closer to the ground where damage is commonly found. Any areas of concern are marked with painter's tape so nothing is overlooked.
Once the assessment is complete, our team will walk through each issue with you directly — explaining what they found, why it matters and what your options are. Because our carpenters spend several hours at your home, the assessment is billed based on time spent. Whether or not you move forward with Hubley, you'll come away with a clear picture of your home's condition and what it needs — and we believe that's a valuable thing to have.
